The mission of Indigo Dance Arts Ensemble is to support youth and young adults in their journey of self-expression as both dancers and agents of social change. We explore social issues motivated by the interests of our ensemble members.

In addition to dance, we also encourage ensemble members to cultivate their talent in other forms of self-expression such as creative writing, spoken word, photography, digital art, etc.

In addition to dance classes and dance rehearsals, members of the ensemble participate in workshops designed to explore issues related to identity development, self-expression, social issues, and self-acceptance.

Our performance venues include traditional dance venues, such as dance concerts and dance festivals, as well as community venues such as cultural events, and child / youth oriented events.
